Multi-Xbox/Multi-User with no Plex Pass?

So, I do not have a Plex Pass & I doubt I will sub soon as there is only one feature I am interested in (multi-user), but I’m not sure if it’s worth the money & I want to see if the Xbox app improves before I kick in. Anyway, I haver 2 Xbox Ones with one user using on one of them and two users on the other (kids) however, we can’t all use Plex because anytime anyone else tries to start the app they have to re-link erasing the previous user it seems.

Am I doing something wrong or is there no way to get multiple Xbox/Xbox users to work without the Plex Pass? Will this work with the Plex Pass? If this only works with the pass, it seems odd to drop the Plex Pass requirement but leave it in this broken state. It doesn’t make me want to buy a pass, it’s just frustrating.

Just curious if there is a path forward?

Thanks…

Tried to go back & edit this post, but doesn’t seem to be possible. It was too harsh to call this broken

Looks like it’s one Xbox user per Xbox One but multiple consoles still work so long as users stick to their console, swapping back and forth appears to screw up linking. So, basically, I have to tell one of the kids to sign in his brother’s Xbox account to watch Plex…annoying and sure to start some arguments between siblings but workable.

Still this is a bad initial user experience. Multiple Xbox Ones may not be super common, but multiple users seems to be…

Its actually Xbox Live Account to Plex account. On my Xbox One I have my Xbox Liveaccount tied to my Plex Account, I created a second Xbox live account for my wife and then created a second Plex account for her that her Xbox live account is tied to.

With that setup we have no problem logging in under my account, her account, or switching between them so we can have our own watched status.
