Some users do this as a workaround but it falls short of the solution requested here. It’ll e.g. get quite untidy if the multi-version movie we’re talking about is also part of a collection.
That being said… I’m actually using this workaround myself where I put the alternate editions/versions into the same collection but a separate „movie editions“ library (I prefer them showing as „related items“ instead of „collection-siblings“ — this also helps me prevent the need to manually split items). Still keeping my fingers crossed for an actual multi-version/-cut solution
