I had this issue on Linux and Windows
My server has two network interfaces with different ISP’s. On Plex, I have one selected as preferred in the network settings (192.168.86.2). However, the remote play settings seem to want to use my other ISP (192.168.87.2) which does not allow port forwarding so it caps the speeds at 2 mbps. I can get it to temporarily switch until the server is reset by disabling the interface that I don’t want then having Plex try again on the Remote Access page then reenabling it after.
Is there a trick getting Plex to prefer one network interface over another for Remote Access?
