Multiple servers on Plex NAS

Server Version#: 1.24.4.5081
Player Version#: 4.63.0

I run Plex for NAS (WD EX4100). How can I add another server/library? I can’t find an option to switch/add a new server. I can only manage the content on my local server (NAS).

Usually there should be no need for multiple servers… even less to run them on the same NAS where they’ll only compete for your resources (which will be especially limited on a NAS).

You can create new libraries from the sidebar (More > hover over the server entry and click +) or from the server’s settings (Settings > [Server Name] > Manage > LibrariesAdd Library)

In my case, I want to add an external remote seedbox. So I can have 2 servers (with separate libraries). Possible?

If it’s on a different machine… no problem. I’m not aware of any limit to the number of servers you can have under your account.
Just make sure to go by the server installation support article – in particular when it comes to finalizing the setup by accessing your new server locally. If you’re using a remote machine you probably need to do this using a SSH tunnel.
