I have 2 tuners and I need to be able to set different guide sources for each. How can I do this? There seems to be a bug when I goto add the 2nd tuner where it defaults to the guide from the first tuner. The only way that I’ve found around this is to literally host 2 different servers, which is less-than-ideal because I cannot access my TV guide and recordings in a single interface…
Plex only allows a single EPG for all tuners when using their Gracenote provided Guide Data. This is why the requirement that all tuners should be of the same type is included in the Frequently Asked Questions – DVR & Live TV
Can I add more than one DVR tuner?
Multiple tuners can be added from within the Plex Web app, provided you are using version 2.10.5 or newer. Tuners should be of the same type; all OTA or all cable, on the same Plex Media Server.
The only way to get around this is to provide your own XMLTV file when setting up your DVR.
