Due to living out in the sticks I have multiple WAN’s and run a load balancer(MWAN3) on my router(OpenWRT) this works so that more than one person can stream from the internet but is causing me issues with Plex.
The problem being depending on which of the WAN’s the connections are made Plex can decide that the server and client are not on the same LAN so attempts to stream the data out of one WAN and back in another WAN. I need some way to convince Plex that both server and client are actually on the LAN.
I have attempted to(in MWAN3) to force all connections to the Plex servers out of the same WAN, but the number of Plex servers is large, seems to change OR I have not found the correct one to force as this method does not work.
Anybody know a way to fix this issue?
