Music artwork does not show the right one

I have a folder in which there are various artist music files. The every each file is tagged with their own artwork(album covers). When I add this folder to my music library, it shows only the first song’s artwork for the rest of the songs in this folder. I deleted the first file, the same thing happened. Need to be checked…

Thanks…

Plex has only “album art”, not “song art”.

the songs in this folder are from different albums. However all the songs are shown with the first song’s album art… Maybe I couldn’t describe it correctly…

A bunch of songs in a common folder doesn’t work in plex.

This approach is unfortunately not compatible with how Plex is handling music.
In Plex, every song is part of a “release”, (i.e. album, EP, single etc.)
All tracks within one such release share their album art, their release title, and their “album artist”.
Mixing several different tracks within a release doesn’t really work, unfortunately. They most likely will end up getting assigned to the same release (commonly called “album”), which means they will also share their album title and artist.
If you want to separate each track, you should separate the files and sort them into a folder hierachy which separates their Album Artists, and inside each artist folder, contains all the releases of that artist in a separate album folder. https://support.plex.tv/articles/200265296-adding-music-media-from-folders/

TL;DR: throwing a bunch of songs into a common folder and expecting to see them appear as a playable album or playlist in Plex does unfortunately not work.

I wish Plex was handling the tracks different way though…
