Music compilations - Artists and Album art mutual exclusive?

I started with 1 compilation which ended up perfectly with ‘Diverse Artiesten’. The I\ve added 4 more compilations.
After completion all albums are now under ‘Frans Bauer’. it just renamed it.
When I searched for Frans Bauer it is not in any of the 5 compilation albums I’ve added.

I’ve restarted the server tried again and as soon as ‘verwerken voltooid Frans Bauer’ appears all songtitles are gone.
I’ve been searching in MP3Tag and noticed there a 2 columns which sound more or less the same.
there is %album artist% and there is %albumartist%. At this moment I’ve used the 1st one to keep ‘Diverse Artiesten’ or ‘Various Artists’ in english.
Should I use the other one or perhaps both ?
Or can it be that there is a wrongly tagged album from Frans Bauer that exists in the music library?

UPDATE; There is indeed a Frans bauer album that has the wrong mp3 tags.
I will start fixing these issues. It may take some time to finish this. When done I will report back

UPDATE:
I’ve found the cause of the changes from ‘Diverse Artiesten’ to ‘Frans Bauer’.
It was caused by a wrongly tagged song that was not part of a compilation and it resides in the ‘music’ library not the compilations library.
I’ve found out that my music library is a big mess regarding tags. So after cleaning up album by album I move them to a new library and test via ‘scan library’. So far so good.
Once more: Thanks for all your help. That allowed me to reach the point Im at now’, which is cleaning up and enjoying my PLEX…
