I’m a new user, having setup my server a couple of months ago. As far as I can tell, all music I added at that point is available to play, but when I’m adding new music it’s hit or miss whether it will be made available via the web or Android app.
All files are stored in a folder per album and artist, and then all in a the same folder on my Raspberry Pi, and are all .flac files. Looking at the logs, it appears that scanner sees the files, but I can’t figure out why it’s not adding them to the library.
When setting up the server, I ran into various issues and I think I gave the whole music folder the same permissions. Is it possible that some new files being added to it would have different permissions to other new files?
