The issue arose with the large library because the scanner matcher program crashed due to memory shortage
It is possible that there would be similar outcomes for other crashes - so would need to investigate - server debug logs zip after completing a scan and if on windows export to text of the Application Event log for Plex related exceptions

HI Thanks for the information but the fact that others are having the same issue with files in the suggested format and folders doesn’t give me much faith to spend the time in doing all this work for possibly no gain. I think I will stick with MediaMonkey For my music library and leave the folder as a library in Plex and if it starts to work again bonus. Its just no worth screwing up a working solution for one that might work.
