Music not playing from Plex server (Mac) through Amazon Echo devices

Plex skill was working fine on all my Echo devices (Dot, Show, Studio and Echo iPhone app). Suddenly, when I ask “Play XXX playlist from Plex” Echo responds “Playing XXX playlist from Plex”, and then nothing happens. No error message, no sound (volume is up), nothing. Same thing happens on all Echo devices and the Echo iPhone app.

I am currently having the same problem. Running Plex server on QNAP TS-251. Have previously enjoyed accessing through my several Echo’s.

Occassionally I have had to remove and then reinstall the credentials (log out, Log in) through the skill in the Alexa app… but this time have not been able to get it to actually play music.

It responds the same as normal, indicating it sees the server and library, but wont actually stream the music.

I am experiencing the same issue, My echo dot has stopped working when I try to access it outside of my lan. It works fine internally. Plex works fine on my phone and Firestick outside my lan.

I’ve relinked the skill on Alexa but still no luck.

Can anyone suggest others things to try.
