Plex is amazing not gonna lie but when it comes to music it sucks badly unsure the issue for instance I will have a folder with 22 songs for instance all tags are fixed all have same album title but not all songs will be in it then sometimes it will show up as 2 albums because artist maybe slightly different.
I hope Devs can do more to fix music this album in particular I’ve done all my tags using a tool each song is also numbered correctly etc… but oddly I’ve now got numbers past the total of songs of the album I’ve also unsure how but it’s also added duplicates of the song.

That’s intentional. If you’re using / preferring embedded tags, Plex will consider different artists with the same album name to be separate albums.
Consider you’ve got multiple albums called „Greatest Hits“… that name alone doesn’t establish that it’s necessarily the same album.
If you’re using embedded metadata for an album with different artist names (e.g. one of the tracks listing a featured artist or duet), make sure to assign a unique Album Artist as well. The combination of album naans and album artist establish a unique album.
I’m not sure if I understand your point. Do you have multiple files for the same track?
Different from videos, Plex music libraries don’t have a concept of different quality versions… instead each of the files will be displayed individually (if that’s what you’re experiencing).
