Music playback stops after ~20 minutes

I’m casting music from plexamp to my chromecast. Everything works great at first. However, about 10 minutes in the display switches to the screensaver. About 20 minutes in the music just pauses. If I click on the chromecast remote once it will bring me back into playback, but that’s not an ideal setup. Is there a way that I can keep things live during playback?
