Music smart playlist Collections

Please consider adding Smart Playlists as an filter option for Smart Collections. Many of the current filters seem impractical—no one is sorting music by “track skips” or “trash.” It would be more effective to involve individuals who genuinely engage with music daily in the filter development process. Additionally, when too many filters are applied, the playlists fail to load. Is the focus really on streaming over improving the user interface, or is that just the direction being prioritized?

Personally I find both of these to be extremely useful.

Track Skips allows you to filter by tracks you skip often, possibly indicating it’s something you want to remove from your library. For example, by creating a “Candidates for Deletion” collection for tracks you’ve skipped 10+ times. Or, conversely, filtering by tracks you’ve never skipped, possibly indicating candidates for a favorites playlist/collection. Or something else.

Filtering by Trash allows you to find potential issues with your library. For example, if tracks have accidentally been moved/removed you can see that and correct it.

I’m not questioning the usefulness of your overall suggestion (there’s a general feature request out there to allow nested collections which probably apply to playlists as well). But it’s not always helpful to denigrate existing functionality to highlight your case.
