Issue: Smart Music Collections not accessible in Advance Filters

I see we can create Smart Music Collections. However, those created collections do not appear to be accessible when you attempt to use Advance Filters. I only see “Artist Collection” and “Album Collection.”

I’m attempting to filter my albums on the logic that they are NOT a part of a specific Smart Collection.

No takers?

Is this a bug or a missing feature?

This has to be a bug. The advance filters work properly in Movies, so why not Music. Plex?

From what I can see, none of the library types will find smart collections of any type in their filters (regular or advanced).

There’s a feature suggestion asking to treat regular and smart collections similarly with regards to how they’re visible in filters.

Thank tom80H. I hadn’t noticed that it was the same across libraries.

My guess is that the Smart Collections are not stored anywhere and thus would have to be rebuilt/queried each time a filter requests the Smart Collection data. Interesting.

Might explain why my home/recommended/collection pages take a while to load, since they all display several Smart Collections. Each collection needs to run a query before displaying.
