Hey guys, hopefully this is an easy one. I have it all sorted in general, but, for example, If I have a music video by an artist I dont have any albums by, they dont show up? I thought they would create a new artist entry but they dont seem to.
Basically I am set up with the separate music videos folder, with individual artist folders in them. And, works great if I have the band/artist in my music collection. Is this a known thing?
Yes, this is intended. Music videos are added to existing artist. If the artist doesn’t already exist, it does not create the artist. Artist cannot exist on their own without at least 1 track.

You can see why the vid is enjoyable but nobody bought the album haha
Add a fake track. Or extract the audio from the music video and add that as a stand alone music track. Then the artist gets created and you can include the video.
