As for a dedicated section for music videos, that’s already covered by 2 existing suggestions (one focusing on a dedicated library type, the other on a metadata agent for music videos)
Problem:
Currently, Music Videos can be stored in a global music videos folder.
They then display neatly formatted on the page of each music artist in a Music section. This is great.
But as a consequence you have to have music for each artist in order to see any of their videos, in this nice format.
Feature request:
Option 1) Add the ability to have a standalone Music Video section, with neatly formatted videos.

I would love to see someone developing a metadata plugin that uses the IMVDb for its information. They do have an API in beta that can be used for something like this.
I have a large collection of music videos in a separate library (about 5000 videos), and manually going through this to add metadata would be an herculean task…
The same goes for an option to track their progress / scribbling to Last.FM.
So why this isn’t already a feature I have no idea but I watch a lot of music videos and it would be an idea to be able to automatically scribble each play to Last.FM, much like you can do right now with music. It’s annoying as until this is implemented I can’t fully use Plex as much as I would want to, as I like to use Last.FM to keep tabs on what I play weekly, monthly and yearly and so forth.
PLEASE can somebody look at this and tell me why this hasn’t been implemented yet?
