My apple TV 3 won't work after Plex Connect

If anyone could help with this I'd be more than grateful...

 

I got an apple TV 3 because I heard you could use Plex with it...

 

I followed the instruction on the following website https://langui.sh/2013/08/27/appletv-ssl-plexconnect/

 

When I plugged the Apple TV back into my TV it boots up and shows Two icons 'Computers' and 'settings' thats it, nothing else. 

 

I clicked on 'Computers' and the following is what I did..

 

'Computers' -  1. home sharing set up. 2. Apple ID. Then I get the following message 3. Accessing iTunes Store. 4. Unable to sign in - Apple TV can't connect to the server at this time. Please try later.

 

 I have iTunes open on my Mac mini and signed into the correct account.

 

So, I tried another Apple ID, same thing happened. So, I reset the Apple TV and again, the same thing is happening.

 

Anyone know what I can do? Have I ruined my Apple Tv? lol

Sounds like your network isn’t reaching your atv. Click the pinned read before posting topic and goto how to report an issue so we can help you ASAP. If temporarily set your DNS to auto does your atv work, minus plexconnect working obviously?
