I see a heart under photos to add them to favorites, I see it under mkv files, but not under mp4 files. Does it make a difference if the library is a photo library or a video library? In my case all files are in the same photo library yet the mp4 file opens some other player interface and no longer has the option to select the heart icon.
The only thing consistent with this platform is how every client and release is always inconsistent in features, performance and bugs. If there was a better option to share media with family, that has smart tv support I would switch in a heartbeat.
Yes, I would also like this. In fact, it is partly implemented already. I noticed that the Android App already has the heart icon for images and videos, but not music. Please implement it also for music (like Spotifyās favorite list), and also across devices.
I donāt care whether I can do this already using some kind of workaround. Of course, you can handle this internally as playlist, fair enough, but I want an easy button for this. This is also the way Spotify implemented it.
Yes, PLEASE add this. Iād like to be able to click a little star next to a movie or tv series and then have a āFavoritesā section that I can pin to the home screen. How is this not done?
You can go to your movie library and filter/sort it as you like (e.g. using only movies rated by you with at least 4 stars or movies with 8 or higher critics ratingā¦, sorted by actual rating etc).
Custom filters are best for thisā¦
When you have the movies showing the way you want them, click Add to Playlist (no need to select individual movies first).
Give the Playlist a name and youāre good.
When you check out your Playlists you will notice thereās a little gear icon on that particular playlist. This indicates itās a smart playlist.
If you add a new movie matching your criteria (or increase/decrease an existing movie rating), the playlist will automatically be updated and add or remove the movie accordingly.
Edit: The gear icon for the smart playlist is in the top-left corner of the playlist icon. Iām e.g. using such a playlist to keep track of movies (or songs) I havenāt rated yet
