My hard drive has gone kaput. How can I get a list of what I've lost?

Server Version#: Version 1.15.3.876

I know, I know… I already have two NAS enclosures with 4 drives a piece that have run for several years now without any failure whatsoever but two of these external single drive enclosures have packed up on me and took a load of stuff with them.

I want to be able to find out what I’ve lost. I know the drive letters involved if that helps. Is there any utility for this other than coming up to something saying ‘MISSING’ when you most want to watch it :frowning:

Settings - Server - Library - Empty trash automatically after every scan = Disable

If this checkbox was ‘checked’, then you must https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/ from before the crash.

If it was already disabled, you can proceed to install:

WebTools

This plugin allows you to scan a library and check for any missing files. It then displays a list of missing files or lets you know if none are missing.

or

ExportTools
Which gives you a list of every media item in a certain library. Optionally with the file path. (you need to configure the detail ‘level’).
You can then open the resulting CSV or XLS file with a spreadsheet app and sort by path.
