Easy way to find what media was on a particular drive?

I have about 10 external hard drives in addition to a NAS. All of my movies and TV shows are stored on them. I lost a drive today, and I’m looking for a way to find out which media I lost, so I can rebuild that part of my library? Is there some kind of search function to find out which media was stored on my “S” drive?

Are the missing items still listed in the Plex library? i.e. you did not Empty Trash manually or have “Empty trash automatically after every scan” enabled
Then use WebTools NG to export the library to CSV. Then open it in a spreadsheet app and filter by storage location.

If the items of the missing drive are already gone from the library, you can try to restore an older version of the database. https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/
But think of immediately disabling “Empty trash automatically after every scan” or it will be for naught.

Thank you. Just did everything on your list and exported them. I think I’m going to have to change the export level, as I don’t see drive letters on there. Is that correct?

Correct…

Here’s a list of all fields avail:

The field you are looking for is called Part File Path or Part File Combined depending on your needs

Most easy way is to create a custom level with only what you need
