My movies will play on Plex on my PC but no longer on my TV app

Same issue here! Using Apple TV. Works literally on any other platform perfectly. Seems to be isolated to my movies partition

I have a Samsung Smart TV and it has always run the app perfectly fine. Only recently, I can no longer play any of my movies - it says Playback Error

I can see that from the tag you put on this topic.

I asked what the model number is of the tv and the version numbers of server.

SAMSUNG UN50KU630DFXZA 50" LED 4K Smart TV and I have the most recent Server version, 127.0.0.1 I believe…

OK thanks. would need to see the smart tv logs which write to your logs from server. Link has info on how to enable logging to server and get them.

I tried everything you suggested, my Plex is still broken…none of my movies play anymore on the TV app :frowning:

I enabled logging to the server but the TV app is still now useless and won’t play any of my movies…

I didn’t suggest anything but getting the smart tv logs. Are you going to provide them?

But you never uploaded the server logs to us!

You need to respond here, and attach a zip file with the logs

The logs are a detailed record of what the app and server are doing. It may help determine what the issue is.

Also if you have not, restart your server, and unplug then plug back in your TV

My Plex is still broken!

Please help…should I just reset the whole thing? Could you send me any instruction on how I can start over and reset up my library? Maybe that’ll fix it…
