My Plex Media Server always crashes on Sunday Mornings

Greetings! I am trying to figure out what is causing my Plex Server to crash every Sunday morning. I downloaded my server logs, I am just wondering which logs should I be looking at because there are so many of them :). I am running Plex on Unraid in a Docker container. Any assistance is appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Id start with the Plex Media Server log file around the time of the crash. If needed you can post the zip here and we can take a look.

Thank you for replying! I just noticed that the “Plex Media Server Logs” only show the last couple days, I will wait for tomorrow morning when I know it is going to crash and capture the logs and upload them here. Thank you again!

Here are the server logs as promised, like clockwork, I woke up this morning and Plex did crash! Thank you again!

Something is going on in your network:

Dec 01, 2024 03:14:52.132 [22984724056888] DEBUG - NetworkInterface: Notified of network changed (force=0)
Dec 01, 2024 03:14:52.152 [22984724056888] DEBUG - Network change notification but nothing changed.
Dec 01, 2024 03:14:52.153 [22984724056888] DEBUG - NetworkInterface: received Netlink message len=1756, type=RTM_NEWLINK, flags=0x0
Dec 01, 2024 03:14:52.153 [22984724056888] DEBUG - NetworkInterface: Netlink information message family=0, type=1, index=123, flags=0x1003, change=0x0
Dec 01, 2024 03:14:52.153 [22984724056888] DEBUG - Network change.

And that repeats a total of 242 times. Might check what scheduled tasks your router has, or if you have a bad network cable, but something is causing network change spam.

But the underlying “crash” cause is

Dec 01, 2024 03:16:00.373 [22984823642936] DEBUG - Shutting down with signal 15 (Terminated)

Something sent a kill command to the plex process. I would look to see if you have any kind of memory/resource quota tool in place that may be killing plex when it uses too many resources.

All I can is WOW! Thank you very very much for looking at this for me! I will dig a bit deeper with the info you have provided me!
