I think this usually comes down to one of two situations:

  1. Plex is configured to prefer local metadata, but your tags have issues, or
  2. Plex is not configured to prefer local metadata, but your file/folder structure is not organized in a way that Plex can interpret.

If you could provide some screenshots of MP3Tag showing some of the tracks that are having this problem, maybe we can put some new eyes on it.
