MyPassport Wireless Pro upgraded to 1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9 now I can't connect

This evening, I had just moved some movie & music files to my Wireless Passport Pro & refreshed my Libraries when I returned to the WD MyPassport admin page (media button), and noticed that a Plex update was available.

I upgraded PMS to 1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9. I think it might have been 1.18 immediately before the upgrade, when I last connected to it.

After the upgrade, I can’t connect to the server.

I can see the Server on my Plex Admin page, but it won’t connect. Plex displays the message “MyPassport is currently unavailable.”

I’ve tried turning PMS off, then back on from the MyPassport admin page.

I’ve tried connecting directly to the MyPassport WiFi network.

I’ve tried connecting through my home WiFi network.

I’ve tried clicking the Configure button from the MyPassport Plex section, which tries to open http://mypassport:32400/web, but that simply ends in " This site can’t be reached".

No matter how I pull up my Plex Admin page, I can see & manage my main Plex Servers & I can “see” MyPassport (along with some grayed out libraries), but it won’t let me connect.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?


2020-10-12 update: I ended up Resetting PMS on the WD My Passport Wireless Pro. It appears to have resolved the issue, but it also means I had to rebuild the Libraries…
