Would it be possible to create an URL service that would allow local:// URLs, and those would refer to files on the default PMS, which would allow me to queue local videos?
I’d like to do that to be able to just tell my wife to look in her queue to see videos she wants to watch, which would include both local and internet videos.
Would that be possible without having this URL service running on the myPlex servers (and have it only on my local server), or do I absolutely need it there to be able to add such URLs to a myPlex queue ?
Thanks for your post! We’ll be added support for queuing local content in a future release. Until then, you might be able to cobble something together, but generally the clients need the URL services to be running in the cloud.
