I suspect this is outside of PLEX’s scope, but I thought I might ask just in case. I create home videos that family members enjoy seeing from across the country. Traditionally, my process has been to upload them to my Media Server for safe keeping (which PLEX references), but also uploading them to YouTube as an unlisted video. For my technically challenged family members it is easy for them to simply click on an unlisted YouTube link and watch the video immediately.
It would be nice if PLEX provided some kind of option to do the same, that is, creating a URL that would directly play a video for someone from my PLEX server, but I don’t think it does this. Can anyone confirm?
