MyPlex Queue plugin?

Ah! Thank you. I've attached the resulting "PlexConnect.log" after rebooting and going directly to "Trailers", "Channels", and "MyPlex Queue". At first I copy and pasted it, but it was enormous. Thanks again!

Just wanted to make sure this didn't get buried. I'm still having problems with the plugin. Any suggestions? Thanks!

According to your log from May, 6th, you were not logged in into myplex.

Hmm. I just re-logged into MyPlex from the web interface and tried again. Is it still the case? Is there another place I should be logging into MyPlex? Thank you!

WebInterface? You are using your aTV, aren't you?

There seems to be a problem with plugin if server is signed into MyPlex BUT is NOT published.

Yes, using aTV. Sorry for the confusion. I'm still not having any luck making this work. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi There

Trying to get my queue working on the Plex Connect Queue channel

Response via the ATV is "Plex Media Server: No Items Available"

They are there when I go via the channel on my iPad - but not via the channel on the ATV

I am signed in to Plex and also signed in via the computer

I have attached the log file (set on high) but did not seem to give as much info as the command window....

So I have cut and pasted that below the log file also

Any insight you may have would be appreciated

Great work BTW

>>(set on high)

"high" or "High"? Because it's case sensitive...

Hi (pun) :)

I have attached 2 x logs with config (h)igh and (H)igh

Only operations are select trailers app // select channels // Select Plex Queue

Both return "Plex Media Server: No Items Available"

It's me. Isn't it  :)

and log files are here  :)PlexConnect.log_High.txt (929 Bytes)PlexConnect.log-high.txt (929 Bytes)

Hm. None of the two actually looks like "loglevel = High".

Just for an example, starting up DNSServer should display like...

10:29:12 DNSServer: ***
10:29:12 DNSServer: DNSServer: Serving DNS on 192.168.178.22 port 53.
10:29:12 DNSServer: intercept: ['trailers.apple.com'] => 192.168.178.22
10:29:12 DNSServer: restrain: ['mesu.apple.com', 'appldnld.apple.com', 'appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net'] => 127.0.0.1
10:29:12 DNSServer: forward other to higher level DNS: 8.8.8.8
10:29:12 DNSServer: ***

Are you sure you edit the correct Settings.cfg file?

Any unknown option should be reset to the default settings - so after running PlexConnect the "high" (lower case) should actually revert back to "Normal", whereas the "High" would stick.

Hi

The settings.cfg in the root dir of PlexConnect master - right (attached)

Set to (High) - still gives log (as attached)

The output you describe is similar to the cmd window output so I have copied this and (attached)

again process is select trailers // select channels // Select Plex queue

Settings.cfg.txt (407 Bytes)cmd window.txt (2.08 KB)PlexConnect.log_High.txt (929 Bytes)

>>The output you describe is similar to the cmd window output so I have copied this and (attached)

Similar but not the same. I miss all the PMS-XMLs and XMLConverter output. You got to edit Settings.cfg - not copy/save it into a *.txt.

I just changed to *.txt to upload as the uploader was tellng me couldn't upload this sort of file

please see attached screen grab of dir and cfg file - no text

Not sure if the grab I just uploaded is going to stay thumbnail size in the post so also uploading again as txt extension

you can rename jpg aftercfg.txt (224 KB)

Sorry... but all I can say is: Neither of the logs you shared is record with loglevel=High.

I can't help you unless we get that darted out. I still don't think that we are looking at the correct Settings.cfg file. Please do me a favor: When changing "loglevel = High" , also delete one random file (like remove "port_webserver = 80") and restart PlexConnect - run the .py file directly, not .pyc. Afterwards, please double-check if Settings.cfg got altered and the deleted file is showing up again.

If the line doesn't show up... try to find out which Settings.cfg is used.

If it does... post the new log. :-)

I honestly don't understand what's going on on your system.

Hi

Thank you for your help in trying to get me sorted here

It is very much appreciated

Did Search for settings.cfg and found these as attached

The First - Didn't know they were there - that and the log only two files there

Second - Just what I sent you the other night

Third a copy I made of settings before playing around

Fourth the one in the PlexConnect-master folder

Fifth - Just the expanded original zip file Ion my desktop that I downloaded

sixth one of the Packages system files for ATV

Seventh same again except again form the zip archive in my Desktop

Tested on both the PlexConnect-master settings cfg and the users\admin\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files Setting cfg

Quit Plex connect - removed port_webserver = 80 from the settings files

Started again using the PlexConnect.py file

Both Settings files remained as they were altered - with the Blank line

Maybe I should uninstall all - clean the registry and try again ?

Hi, I wanna try give this channel a try, assuming its still working. now where exactly do I put it? I read post #16 but I don't have plea media centre /Library/Application Support/Plex Media Center/Plug-ins, I am assuming plex media server/PLugins. No the file I got from git is Queue.bundle-master. Now I do I put that entire folder into the plugins or the conents of that folder (Contents)  I don't see a .bundle which is what I;m used to or do I somehow not get the right file. thanks
