I get "No MyPlex Library Sections Available" should I see videos from my MyPlex Queue? I don't have any shared libraries, so just making sure that I am on the same page. Videos in the queue show up on other clients.

Yes Logged in! Brother is sharing a server with me which I'm assuming I should see in myplex?
Ok so i unlinked my cloud sync and i can see the shared servers now!!!
Yep, we know about the issues with CloudSync.
And the Queue is not yet worked on...

I don't even think I need cloudsync. I'm very happy that myPlex is there though!!! thanks Baa

Thanks for confirming!
Just another quick question about this;
Played around with the new code at my parents house this afternoon and logged in with my parents account on their Apple TV I could see the sections which I share with them just fine under the MyPlex tab.
Back home again I (for testing) put my parents credentials in my own AppleTV (which is local, offcourse) and to my surprise the shared sections don't show up under MyPlex but under Library (far left).
Is that expected behaviour?
It's not really a problem, just wondering :)
Library is your media, locally stored.
MyPlex is your media remotely stored, or shared content (either local or remote).
So at home, you didn't actually see the "shared content" but your complete server...
That's as it is today... I guess we yet don't have a better handle on how to sort things.
Not really true, because I did NOT see the complete server, just the sections I share with my parents (id)... :)
And the myPlex tab is empty (at home), whether I login in with my master user or guest user.. :)
1) Hm. Let me think about that... we are adding the myplex accesstoken to the local servers, in case you have "require authorisation" set. This would limit the sections seen to the shared ones I guess.
2) At home, you don't have other remote servers, right? Only one (guest user) that is also local - found via GDM. If it is local, it won't show in MyPlex a second time.
Set PlexGDM to False and specify a "non-server" in the IP/Port settings. That way it won't pick up your local server, and therefore throw it into the MyPlex area...
Does anybody understand what I am saying? Well, I don't. As I said, we don't yet have a good handle on things. :-D
1) I don't have require authorisation set, because when I log out (on the ATV) I see all sections (under library). Or is this not what you meant? :)
2) You're a wizard, when I put a bogey IP in the settings.cfg the library stays emtpy and the sections do indeed show up in the myPlex tab.
Strange thing though;
When I start a video and fast-forward like 5 minutes, it takes ages to catch up (like one minute) before it starts again.
When I put back the correct IP in the settings.cfg the myplex tab is (offcourse) empty again, and I can access my sections through library. When I then fast forward the same video the same amount of time it takes only a few seconds to start again.
Strange. No big deal for me, I can just make it work like above, just hope the same thing doesn't happen at my parents because they actually do use the myplex tab offcourse... :)
Late to the dance here folks. So to understand correctly, the coworker I have shared content with via my Plex Media Server and myPlex should now, under the latest commits and signing into PlexConnect with his myPlex credentials, will/should be able to play that shared content on his AppleTV 3?
Yes, that's correct, it already works like that (tested it today at my parents house), but I guess it's still expirimental.
Other thing (major thing for me as I'm Dutch), subtitles are off by default for shared users:
That's annoying, at least. What's worse: I can't enable subtitles on the ATV. You can select a subtitle through the menu, but when you click "Back" it doesn't save your selection. This only happens on a shared account, when I login with my master account I can happily change subs. Is this a known issue?
On the IOS app on their iPad my parents have the same sub problem (off by default) but in that app you CAN change the subs..
/edit:
Probably this:
I was actually thinking right now (sorry for the offtopic), that you guys rock. I'm gonna donate whenever those little bugs are worked out and my parents can fully enjoy my plex server with working subs and their own watch states. Saves me the trouble of having to update their old Popcorn Hour everytime I visit them :)
Yes, that's correct, it already works like that (tested it today at my parents house), but I guess it's still experimental.
Thats....that just so cool

Well, probably from local Library you are direct streaming, from MyPlex you are transcoding. There are two different settings for those sources, the latter is "Transcoder/remote quality" - by default much lower than for local files. Try to adjust those two settings, I don't see another reason why it would behave differently.
I set those the same (40mbps). Doesn't really matter anyways, might also be my network setup. I'll test when I'm at my parents again, over there the setting will be 4mbps.
What's more important is the subtitle thing... :)
I can confirm myplex working, great work guys! I can also use my plexconnect on the go (for jailbroken atv2's 5.x only at this time) using addsite which allows me to run plexconnect via dyndns instead of bringing a extra device to host plexconnect while keeping all my content at my home (I'm using 5.2 untethered). I can just login to my home server to update plexconnect/pms to keep them up to date. :)
