Naming Duplicate Seasons/Episodes

I have a situation that TV shows in the same season is labeled twice with the same episode number. How would you label that?
Example:
America’s Test Kitchen - S23E10 - Eggs Around the World
America’s Test Kitchen - S23E10 - Mediterranean Seafood

Then it’s either a double episode (in which case you’ll have to “stack” the files),

or it is impossible.

Look up the show at either TheTVDB.com or TheMovieDB.org
See how the episodes are organized there. Then change the episode numbers of your files.

This is confusing to me. Do you actually have two files, or are you saying this particular episode has two titles, but you only have one file? According to a page on memorabletv, this episode has the same description as the S23E10 episode Eggs around the World, leading me to suspect they are the same episode.

If it’s the single episode labeled “Eggs around the World”, but you wish to include the text “Mediterranean Seafood”, then you can edit the Plex title metadata for the episode (manually) to include it.

I actually have two files of the same season and episode number but different content. That’s the way “America’s Test Kitchen” labeled them one was aired in 2022 and the other 2023.

America’s Test Kitchen - S23E10 - Eggs Around the World is correct

There is a separate show called America’s Test Kitchen Specials (2022) on the TVDB
They list it as s01e10

Usually, specials are listed as part of the main show in a Season 00 but this is a totally different show for some reason

That show pulls metadata but has no posters

Thanks! That’s just what I needed.
