NAS:synology 920+
all device connect to local network through wired connect : 1000M
The video format is just 1080P, not 4K
When I play video with direct stream.The video will be buffering every ten seconds. and pop info “The server connection speed is too low to use streaming”
If switching to transcoding，No buffer will be happen.
In order to troubleshooting, I have doing some test.
1, I tryed to run Plex APP on iPad and PC, no buffering, initial loading and dragging the progress bar feedback quickly.
Does this indicate PMS works well on NAS and smartTV have some issue?
2, I run KODI APP on smartTV and play the same video, also no buffering, initial loading and dragging the progress bar feedback quickly.
Does this indicate smartTV network can work well and hardware performance is capable?
3, My friend A also have a PLEX PMS, and I try to play the same video through A’s steam on my smart TV, no buffering, initial loading and dragging the progress bar feedback quickly.
PS: useing internet connect,not local network.
so there is a problem on local network whit NAS and smartTV?
I’m not sure where the problem lies
