At a total loss

So I’ve has issues streaming larger files 20gb+ without the app buffering every 5 seconds now I’ve even moves my nas next to my tv on the same switch (use the ps4 app btw) and still it buffers every 5 seconds…

Are you using your NAS for your PMS? If so, what make and model is it? A 20gb file is going to have a bitrate >20 Mbps. You need a NAS with a decent CPU to handle this. Have you checked our NAS compatibility spreadsheet to see what your device is capable of with Plex? https://support.plex.tv/articles/201373803-nas-compatibility-list/

Hi,

I too have found this. Everything in my house is hardwired. Dell server dual Xeon. 64gb RAM.

Buffer. Buffer. Android client.

Enable dlna.

Kodi, add videos from Plex dlna.

Plays perfectly

TBF, this was 4K content.

Having the same (exact imo) issue across my Ubiquiti 10Gb/Gigabit only LAN, off a Synology quad–core Xeon Rackstation playing anything above 1080p.

No idea WTF to do.
