NAS server not available

Server Version#: QNAP TS-451+ Linux QTS 4.3.6.0923
Player Version#: 1.15.4.993-bb4a2cb6c

I can’t log on to my NAS, plex states it’s not available. Tried to connect it via my iMac, my Android phone, my LG TV, nothing works, I always get the message “server is unavailable”. However my NAS is available through my Desktop on my Mac as well as through its web app.

So I re-installed the plex app on my Qnap NAS. This time, plex found back my server with no problem. But now I’ve got to build up all my libraries again… Is there an easy way to copy my old libraries and its settings?

The strange thing is that I can see both the newly connected NAS which is found by plex and the previous connection to my NAS which is marked as unavailable, see screen shot in attachment.21|489x297

Since there seems to be no solution for this I installed plex again and reloaded all my libraries. Only two weeks later Plex lost my NAS again, as well as the connection to my mac on which it is installed. ■■■■ it. Exit plex.

Plex used to be splendid a few years ago but now it has become a piece of crap.
