Can you please add the ability to download music (i have plex pass) by folder. I make my own folder with yacht rock, 80’s Alternative, etc. I don’t want to edit the tags destroying their original genre. So if I could download the folder it would work best.
Make them playlists, then download those.

I don’t see an add to playlist function from folder level? I have close to 1000 songs in that folder. Really really don’t want to add them one by one. You can’t even select multiple files.
I suppose Otto is referring to multi-selecting all items in that folder – this will bring up the multi-selection action bar at the top which includes the Add to Playlist option.
With 1000 songs in that folder you’ll best select the 1st, then scroll to the bottom of the list in a decent pace (slow enough for Plex to actually load/display where you’re scrolling to), hold the Shift key and select the last item.
