Server Version#:v1.2.10
Player Version#: last
I have set up my local Plex server via TrueNAS. It runs well, and I also have a Plex account. So I downloaded the Plex app on Android and connected with the same Plex account, but it is impossible to have my server in the app, non content at all. I don’t know what I am missing, but if someone can help, it would be great.
Was this supposed to be 1.42.1?
Looks like you are using Docker might not using the recommended Host Networking to use the machines IP. Using the docker default IP 172.x.x.x treats it as it if on a separate network. and therefore remote. since you dont have remote access enabled it won’t find it.
some info about that in the ReadMe here. GitHub - plexinc/pms-docker: Plex Media Server Docker repo, for all your PMS docker needs.
Or you only have music or photo libraries which the new version of Android mobile app does not support yet.
Thanks, BigWheel. Yes, I think it runs in a Docker (https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker). But it’s not in the IP range 172.XXX, because I access it with this link: http://192.168.XX.XX:32400/web/index.html#!/ By the way, the funny thing is that on my phone, via the web browser, I can access my Plex Media Server with this link. I log in (with the same account), and I can see my movie. But again, with the app (and the same account), nothing !
