I feel like I’m back on cable being force feed live TV after the merge of the LiveTV and DVR sections. 90% of the time I am watching DVR channels, but it defaults to Live TV channels with the new combined library on my Roku. I can ‘manage’ them by removing live tv or adding favorites, BUT I CANNOT MAKE IT DEFAULT TO DVR. Because of the icon and grid layout, it takes me 4 remote clicks to get to the DVR channels. This needs to be fixed. The only option I can find is to remove my live tv favorites list and all the other live channels, then my dvr options show up first. I occasionally like to watch a few live tv channels, but the way it is currently I will remove all live tv because it’s not worth the remote hassles to get to the dvr grid.
A big part of the reason I bought plex was to get away from all the content force feeding that cable and streaming services use. Disappointed in seeing some of that on Plex with the live tv option.
