Hi there. I've recently started using Plex, and I wanted to add it to an Apple TV we have in our house. I started checking out on PlexConnect, but I kind of hit a wall, you could say. I installed the Tomato Firmware on my Linksys/Cisco E2500 router (no USB inputs on it), so I could redirect to the app and avoid making the ATV useless unless my server PC is on (which is not exactly 24/7).
I tried this guide on the forum, the one selected as "Best answer actually". Long story short, the ATV got unable to connect at all to the internet, and I spent some nice hours trying to undo it (At the end I managed to leave it as before). Now, as I'm not sure if I did something wrong, or if there's something wrong in that guide/script from almost a year ago, I wanted to ask you:
- What DNSMasq/IPTables settings should I use so when the ATV tries to access the modified channel, it gets sent to my PlexConnect Server? The internal IPs are:
- 192.168.1.1: Router
- 192.168.1.19: The PC holding the Plex and PlexConnect server (Running Manjaro Linux) (Static IP)
- 192.168.1.147: The Apple TV (Static IP)
- Do you know where can I find a list of the apps' URLs? I'd rather replace some of the channels we don't use, like all those regarding USA sports, instead of the Trailers Channel. For us in Argentina, all those channels only offer premium content we're not honestly interested, for a really high price, so we could get rid of one of those :P
