New App, forced to login/create Account and still cannot access local server

I don’t see a reason why you are doing it this way.

Even if you for some reason need to have 2 servers under different accounts, then simply share server 2 with account 1. Then account 1 can access both servers at the same time.
(while all managed users of account 1 don’t have access to server 2, if you did this for access restriction purposes)

The other reason I could ask why dropping previous functions?

I could test this but this doesn’t sounds promising. Also I wouldn’t have done this in the past if there was another method for this.

Connecting the servers to 1 account is like “why having a second account with a seconds life time pass?”

So I guess there will be no solution for people like me who simply cannot connect all there server on the internet?

How about implementing a way to add servers where there is no internet service? You are aware that there are some places people cannot get or do not want to get internet?

You can sell a different pass in addition for a lifetime pass for this I would not care but please consider these scenarios. I would guess lots of people use plex for this or else they would just get/use their regular streaming services.

As I already told you above:
Plex cannot be used without Internet connection.
This applies to both the server and the clients.

As far as I can see, this requirement won’t go away.

Well, I used it without Internet connection until 2 months ago. And in principle the server is still running and I could use it through the web interface of the server. Just cannot make the new client “see” the server on the same network without internet.

I was kinda hoping this functionality would come back, but if it is like you said and this is not gonna go away, than sadly I need to go and look for another media server solution.
