I am new to the Plex scene for development, but I have worked on xbmc with python. I am trying to get a Fox plugin because I want all the major networks. I am basing my script off of beowulfe’s food network. He uses .xpath to get info from the urls. Is it possible to use simple regular expression to get this info, similar to Voinage’s tutorial? I had prgrammed fox at one point for xbmc except I couldn’t get the vids to play because of the hulu cat and mouse.

The problem with Fox.com is that is uses the Move Networks player (as does ABC), this is currently not supported by Plex. It’s being worked on but I don’t know when it’s expected or if it’ll ever be possible.
Welcome to Plex tho! There are a lot of requests for plugins in the user forum if you need an idea for something else.
