Here is a link to a new build where we have reenabled DTS passthrough on both new Fire TV Sticks. Please give it a try both DTS and DTS-HD formats. DTS-HD will play as DTS as the devices only support the passthrough of the basic profile. Otherwise, it will be in the next beta later this week.
