New Interface - Loss of On Deck slows down finding content

With the new interface coming, I’m not convinced by the new integrated “Continue Watching” it never adds content from TV series which you’ve already watched once (which On Deck did)

This means I have to go into my TV library every time to find the series I’m rewatching.

Does anyone else hate this?

I think this situation was brought up in the larger thread and that’s expected behavior (and fits with my personal expectations but I get your preference for it).

Besides setting your show back to “unwatched” which would keep it in that new merged hub, I believe they mentioned that a new hub option is coming out which will work like a manual play queue or watch list which would match up for these types of situations.

Thanks for responding. Why did they not wait until that new Hub Option is available BEFORE change the interface then.

It’s a significant retrograde step in UI.

:astonished:

There is no loss in functionality of what content will appear there. Anything that would have previously appeared in On Deck will now appear in the Continue Watching hub

There IS a loss of functionality though. While the “same items” appear in the CW row, they do not appear in an efficient manner. Anything that I am in the middle of actively watching, appears before “On Deck” content. This leads to a number of movies/TV shows that I stopped for one reason or another to clutter up the Continue Watching row.

Maybe this is a bug, but I will vehemently fight that Continue Watching & On Deck served two different purposes and should not have been merged together.
