i need to replace my ssd for a bigger one.
I have three options and need help on which option is the best and quickest:
new SSD is 500GIGS old SSD if 240gigis
1). image the OS and replace drive and restore the image to the new drive
however dont know of a FREE image software ( image would be around 250GIGS )
2). replace drive drive with fresh install of OS and fresh install of plex server, however want to retain the server settings and dont want to re-invite my friends ( all ready have plex metadata saved to an ext drive for the time being )
3). keep the smaller drive and just put the plexmetadata on bigger ssd drive ( however case is full and no more power cable available ),
any help would be great and instructions…
