New Player missing Guide View in Live TV & DVR

The Guide View seems to be missing from the new Plex for Windows app.

In Plex Media Player you can choose between Channels, Live TV & DVR, Movies, News and Sports.

How do I filter to show movies or shows only? Is this still possible?

Currently it’s not possible. Plex is aware of this.

If you type ‘film’ in the top search bar, you should get a result that says “Film in Movies” under the Genres in ‘Live TV & DVR’ of the returns section. Not sure if its all films, but better than nothing
