Guide View Missing on latest version of Plex Server

The Live TV/DVR option used to have an option to view a guide that showed what is currently playing on what channel, that is completely gone from the application.

This is a bug in the web client bundled with the local Plex Media Server installed. You have two possible workarounds:

  1. use https://app.plext.tv/desktop
    or
  2. Go to Settings -> Plex Web General and uncheck (if it is checked already) “Remember Selected Tab”. Save the change, and then, click on “Live TV & DVR” again. This will bring it back to the original layout where you will see “Recommended, Guide, DVR Schedule, Browse”.

Everytime you want to reach the Guide view again, you must click on “Live TV & DVR” in the left side navigation first.
