On the back of the recent announcement of the EOL of PMP, and the new Plex for Windows / Mac options, my question is is this new sync-enabled desktop option going to be making its way to Linux?
That’s the plan.

Don’t worry, your power users and community influencers will just stop recommending Plex until you do.

Hopefully a Linux version arrives before PMP is phased out.

From their blog post, they have no idea when or even if they will ever make a Plex for Linux.
What about a Linux version?
Right now, we’re focusing our resources on macOS and Windows to ensure they receive the best experience they can. It’s certainly possible that we could expand to support Linux in the future, but for now it’ll be Windows and macOS.
