New Plex Movie Agent Collections

I recently upgraded to the new Plex Movie Agent and I must say I really like it! The Collections in paticular are much improved.

Since upgrading, deleting my collections and refreshing meta data, I’ve noticed 2 collections that I had from the OLD movie agent - are now missing from the NEW movie agent.

I assume they are missing in the new agent - where can we feed this back and have them added?

Plex doesn’t read collections from TheTVDB. Nor does it read any movie-related data from there.
TheTVDB is purely used for TV shows in Plex. But TV shows have nothing to do with the new movie agent.

@OttoKerner, many thanks for your incredibly helpfull post.

I’ve edited my post to clarify the issue I have.

You need to specify which collections these were. Do these collections appear on TheMovieDB?

There is a limit of items, which can be set in the properties of your movie library.
If you set this to e.g. 2, then collections with only 1 items in them won’t get created at all.

Thanks - I have automatic collection size as 1.

I’ve attached screenshots of the two collections I had from the old agent that are now missing. (How High / A Star Wars Story)

It appears they are not in TheMovieDB - is it a case of adding them there?

If they are important to you, either you create them manually or check if you can add them to TheMovieDB.
However, TheMovieDB only allows direct sequels/prequels into a collection. If these collections are merely about grouping movies which play in the same “universe”, they might get removed immediately.

Thanks @OttoKerner

I know this one specifically was added on TMDB and then removed as it isn’t classified as a collection based off their rules for collections.
