New plugin: fxguidetv

I made a plugin but need some help polishing it up.

I have created a plugin for fxguidetv, a professionally produced video podcast on the visual effects and post-production industry.

You can find information on the podcast at [http://fxguide.com/](http://fxguide.com/).

The plugin uses a simple RSS feed to fetch the URLs to the High-Definition Quicktime files.
I used the Revision3 as a basis because of the obvious similarities.

I have created basic fan art for the background.

- a generic "thumbnail" image for the episodes -- the feed does not provide any
- a better icon for the plugin itself[/s] Done.

Also, the RSS feed does not include every episode, only the most recent ones.
The HTML page on the website does, however.
If someone is willing to rewrite this to scrape the web page instead of the RSS feed, that'd be great.

Looks awesome, we’d just need the icon (square, at least 400x400 pixels) and we can get it into the store. If nobody submits one, I’ll whip one up myself.

One quick request: can you change the date (subtitle) to be more simple?



time = ParseDate(the_date) <br />
xxx = time.strftime('%a %b %d, %Y')


That way we'll get more human readable dates :)

Is anyone still supporting this plug-in? I really liked using it, but it only shows up to episode #099. I figure it isn’t coincidental that it stops just before triple digits so hopefully it is an easy fix. Would be grateful if it was updated!

I agree. It would be great to have this up to date. this is one of the best!
