New Proxmox kernel is out 7.0.0-3-pve

The kernel 7.0.0-3-pve (likely 6.17 or 7.0-based, depending on the specific 2026 pre-release/9.x track) is now available in the non-enterprise/test repositories for Proxmox VE 9, offering updated drivers such as xe for Intel GPUs and improved hardware support. This kernel represents a newer, potentially “opt-in” option compared to previous stable versions.

  • Availability: Primarily available on the no-subscription or test repositories as of April 2026.

  • Key Features: Reports indicate it includes updated drivers like the xe driver for Intel GPUs.

So curious to know if Plex is supporting xe drivers or not?

@ChuckPa do you know this or testet it out already ?

Would really love to use my arrowlake GPU with xe drivers . Should be faster and use less power consumption

Thanks
