It’s not just me saying it either — go look at Reddit, people are ripping this update apart. Nobody asked for this overhaul, and clearly nobody likes it. The navigation is worse, everything takes longer, and the design looks like a half-baked copy of other streaming apps.
Why are you ignoring your users? At the very least, Plex should give us the option to use the previous layout. Forcing this new UI on everyone is just lazy and frustrating. The old design worked — this one doesn’t. Listen to your community instead of pretending this is an improvement.
There are literally a thousand comments on here of people saying that it’s horrible. Every single one of the hottest topics is how much people hate the new UI. And Plex is completely ignoring it as if they think everyone will just shut up and take it.
I switched to Emby and I know of at least a few others that switched to Jellyfin. I can only hope enough people switch to make Plex hurt enough that they start listening to their users. At this point, I doubt it and I also don’t see a scenario where I come back either.
