New skip episode function returns to original pre-skipped episode after playback

Hello,

In the recent release of the XBO client, there is a bug that is easily reproducible and occurs when using the new skip episode button.

What happens
When an episode finishes playing, if you had skipped to that episode using the new skip buttons, the Plex UI will return to the first episode that was selected prior to the skipping behaviour.

How to reproduce

  1. Go to an episode in a TV show (for this example, let’s say it’s Episode 15)
  2. Play that episode (you may not have to do this).
  3. Skip to the next episode (Episode 16) using the new skip buttons
  4. Play that episode
  5. When Episode 16 completes, Plex will return to the Episode 15 pre-play screen.
  6. If you skip ahead to Episode 17 and play, when it completes, it will return to Episode 15 pre-play screen.

I should also add that one time using the skip buttons, it skipped from Season 4 to Season 1, however I have been unable to reproduce that behaviour.

The devs are aware of both of these. I raised both when the app first came out. Maybe @Dom C will be able to say if they have ironed them out yet, but they both should probably get added to the known issues thread.
